What are the dates on the two trucks that you have with the red caution plates?
The two red plates that I have, one came from my M-715 delivered-- 5/67
And another one came from a M-725 delivered-- 8/67
    Pretty early in production.

I too would rather have the read plate. My truck in Germany was a 1968 vintage by the registration number. I can't read the data plate though.

The red plate fades to yellow on alot of the trucks, especially if they sit in the sunlight.

I found a picture of the truck that I drove whilst in Germany. It was a red plate and the delivery date of the truck was 7-68.
