Is there anyone or are there vendors who would have the rifle mountng kits?
I know a guy on eBay shows the butt stock bracket but thats it...
I am looking for period correct ones.

Here is the kit for M35 trucks:

The base is different than what the M715 came with, but the tops are the same. Fellow Zoner "Beast" used this kit to put a second mount on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel in his M715. Agengr and I did it to his truck as well to mount a Remington 870. Beast has current pictures on here though.
As I mentioned in the first post of this thread. M1008, M1028 and M1031 trucks have the same mount top and bottom as the M715. The base however could be the newer square type depending on the year.
The M1009 trucks have two next to each other. The base looks to be a single piece. However, the tops are the same and separate from each other when unbolted.
The mounts linked to above, the mounts talked about in this post and the first post are all for M14/M16 rifles. Also mentioned and show in this thread are bed mounts for M1919 and M2 full auto belt fed weapons. There are 4 holes in the bed about the proper distance to put a bun base on with. I don't know the nomenclature for those however.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.
6.2 powered M715, 5 M1009's, M416, 2 M101's, 2 M105's, 3 M35's, M1007 6.5 turbo Suburban project called Cowdog.

They got a load on it. Probably sandbags and ammo.
Yes, you can see that it is loaded down in this pic from a different angle.
