There is LOTS to do still but hearing it run (knock on wood) will be a little victory to keep me going.

Hadn't looked at your thread in a while. Looks like things are coming together nicely!

Don't get discouraged. It took me about 20 years to finally just get my M715, then about a year and a half to build it. It's driving, been wheeling but still isn't finished. Next is the NP205, then the S250, then maybe a D60 and 14 bolt, then whatever else that will look really cool, or make it better yet, or totally break my bank account.

Nice work though for sure. Build it the way you want it upfront. You'll be glad you waited.

Maybe next weekend I can get Grandma to watch the girls for a few hours and come check it out.

My brake master cylinder is sitting on the doorstep right now. Maybe you can help me with getting the linkage set up.

Brake master is easy, bolt to firewall, use the stock push rod and hook up the bake lines, large reservoir goes to front, small reservoir goes to rear. I used the stock junction block on the frame and used a 12v. pressure sending unit for the brake light switch.

It only took me 14 months to reinstall an original engine. The 4bt swap is on hold for now (lack of work space). In the mean time I fixed the wiring, brakes, steering column, paint, etc...... Post #23 recaps the work done.

It was exciting to first fire it up and take it for a drive. I couldn't wait to put the sheetmetal back on so it went naked.

Hey! It looks like your truck has a government issued smoke screen installed! Neat. And if you turn it up a little it'll disappear in the cloud like mine did...

You just send that 4BT to me. I will find a spot (truck) to put it.
