Only a little progress this weekend. Cleaned up a bunch of rusty parts. Welded up a few brackets. Pulled the p/s box. Drilled my civi hood for all the military hardware. Took the nasty seat to the dump. Modified my core support to hold the j-truck radiator.
Did not get the two trans out so I could get them to the gear guyLittle behind schedule at this point.
Did find a happy discovery. Thought my manifold was the stock 4 bbl, turns out its an Edelbrock Performer.Just has been painted.
I knew that.
Got the carb rebuilt tonight. Neighbor has 4 Carter AFBs and boxes full of parts. He had enough parts to fix all the issues I had with mine.
Awesome, how does it run now? It should work really good now.
Got the T18 and Dana 20 out of the J-truck. What a beast!!!!!The extra long input shaft on the T18 did not make it any easier, but with much swearing its out.
Will break the D20 off tomorrow. Thurs should be T98 out of the M.
Hope to have both out and to the gear guy on Sat.
Got both trans out and ready to go to gear guy. T18 on the left and T98 on the right. Like twins separated at birth.
