And that is exactly why my tank sits on the scrap metal pile here. I have a new stainless steel one in the truck. I decided to "bite the bullet" up front. I didn't want to revisit the problem. Maybe one of the members here has a spare that they are willing to part with?Quote:

Also my truck when it came from the fire station just had a metal plate cube welded up in the stock location, not to pretty but functional.
Thinking about getting this fuel cell from jegs but its only a 20 gal. Which I'm sure the truck will burn threw but it's only $250 bucks, been looking for a 32 gal. But there kinda expensive as well

Last spring I smacked up my Accent on an ice patch, wasn't too bad, a few parts from pick a parts, hammered the fender and hood back and its still the cheap daily driver.
wieghted the mule today at the lumber yard..... 5900lbs.
friend of mine went to an army junk yard in N.C. and pick this up for me..... on off switch with a key kinda cool

Yep good for two reasons. Makes it harder for someone to steal your truck and if you leave it parked for extended periods the battery won't discharge as fast since it's disconnected.

Carb crapped out so now I'm putting a holley dominater intake and a Holley 650 carb, but it seems like the world is against me ad does not want me driving this truck, stupid gas prices, stupid economy, stupid job where I don't make any money lol gggggrrrrrrrrr :rolleyes:
Keep your head up. I installed my radiator a week ago, filled up with coolant. Pin hole in the radiator. I put a bucket under it and went inside and sat in my recliner.

BTW, something that is totally unrelated to this topic, hope you don't mind but nonetheless, frustrating. Last night I did bring a Coors Light in a glass into the room with the computer. Finally some real fun! That's a mean looking truck... Looks like a good day for some wheeling too. I'm still waiting for the temps to get out of the 40's here so I can keep the top off.

Das Beef just thought I would let you know I found pictures of the Iron Mule on a google search which convinced me that a M715 is the vehicle I need to build. The Iron Mule is my inspiration for the build I am fixing to start. Which in turn brought me to the zone.
