AMC 360 swap

You should check with Phil. If Brad the machinist did the heads I wouldn't touch them. He knows what he's doing. Not just anyone can do a quality head job.

Not touching the heads at all. Just putting on some new v/c gaskets.

You know, I just looked at the reg and its a 72 - June 72 according to the door tag. Don't know why I thought 71. My bad.

The heads are definitly the later style so that would explain the confusion in rebuilding.

Not complaining at all - dont get me wrong. It was a good deal and I don't care what year it is. Just want to make sure what I have so I can get the right stuff - if there is a diff.

Sure it will run just fine when done.

Power steering box is in with the 4th bolt sleeved thru the frame. Did not take pics cause this mod has been documented by many others.

One thing off the list - 10,000 to go :lol:

everyone likes to see other peoples truck and progress, even if it has been seen before.

oh and i bet your list gets longer before it gets shorter, at least if it works the way my truck seems to.
