    Default 12v -vs- 24v

My M715 had been converted (prior to my taking ownership) to a 12v system. If I buy the NOS 24v front parking lights and rear brake lights what will be the result if installed ? If the result is unacceptable, what would happen if I simply replace the 24v bulbs with 12v bulbs ? Any other ideas if neither is a solution ?

Running the 24V bulb in the 12V system will result in very dim lights...if they even light up.

It is perfectly fine to swap the 24 volt bulbs for their 12 volt equivalent...they will work just fine that way.

We even have a chart that tells you what the bulb numbers are in different voltages so you know what to get to replace what you have:

Willy, got any other MVs? Might want to look into putting it back to 24v. I know some guys are sorry that they converted now that they have more than 1 it would be nice to have all the same components.
