    Default Stock Brake Lining (Number, Size, ect..)

    Would these brake linings fit a M715?
    Brand - Performance Tested
    Front Axle - 1219
    Rear Axle - 1219
    Lining Size - 11x2

    1. 1947-1952 Kaiser & Fraiser
    2. 1947-1952 Willy's Truck 2WD 3/4 ton & 1 Ton
    3. 1947-1952 Willy's Truck 4 WD 1 Ton
    4. 1947-1952 Willy's Truck 4 x 463, 4 x 473

    Anyone have a idea 'bout this?

    No...there are no civilian shoes that will work without alot of work...there are some that can be modified in a jig...I think they are Chevy truck shoes...

    Remember he stock M715 has 13 inch brakes...those are for 11 inchers...

    The mod as done on the old zone does work. I had to replace only one set of shoes on my 715 (they were the only working wheel when I got the truck)

    I went to NAPA and got a set of those shoes. I think they were listed for a late 70's Chevy dually rear. I didn't go the jig route though. I just measured the old stock shoe and then marked and cut mine off with a portable bandsaw to match. I also trimmed the crimped portion the inside of the shoe for the backing plate clearance. They stop just fine.
