    Default spark plugs

I am having trouble getting the spark plug wires off of the spark plugs, and get the plugs out. I did cylinder 1 but I can not get any other ones. Any ideas? I saw a spark plug tool about a year ago, but I can not find the tool anymore. Any ideas??? Please help

You can use a box end wrench...cut out just enough to get it over the spark plug wire...go slow and get it so its tight and it will work nice.

The plugs can be done with a deep socket...get the deepest one you can find and you will be good to go...dont forget to check different size sockets...drive size...like 3/8ths or 1/2 inch drive...can sometimes get a good bit longer just on that.

You can do the wires with just a regular combination wrench and a bunch of patience. Matter of fact, my students did all 6 for Agengr back in the summer one morning.

There are currently 2 "spark plug wire wrenches" on Ebay. One is from Franks. I got one of his a while ago to use on my Gasser M35. (After Agengr's truck). It works great for the REO engine, but won't fit all the wires on the 230. Get the one from Frank since it is currently at $.99 and the other one is over $10.00 already. Call up Frank and offer $9.00 for the thing shipped and he will probably do it. Then, try it out and take a grinder to the parts that don't let it work. You will cut a lot off a few areas, but there will still be enough left to do what you want it to do.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

I have a modified box end wrench that I bent, cut and ground down for clearance and it works great. Like Barrman said, the standard plug wrenches are too big for clearance on the m715 (likely due to the new plugs being slightly taller than oem). You should be able to grind down the wrench to make it work better though.
