Does any one know where or how to get replacement belt for generator. Is there a truck replacement I can use or do I need to find a M715 replacement. Thanks.Bill

I moved this post to the stock tech forum.

If you look at the top of this page, you will see a link called "manuals." Click on it and find the parts index list a page or so down. You should find a cross referrence to current part numbers there.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

I dont know a number offhand...mght b on the temp site...I'll check quick...

If you cant find a belt for anything...or dont know what it takes, measure the width of the pulley groove and put a tape around the pulleys involved...or use a string and measure the length needed on a tape...and go to a decent parts store...they will know how to convert that info...the way belt numbers work, it includes the V groove width and the length in the numbers.

Well...its not on the temp site...wait...found this info on this board:

From ChalkOutine on what info is on the Napa belts he bought:

    That # is 7417
other letters and #'s on the package....

    XL
    Belt/Courroie/Correa
    25
    7417

    Another member, jdobyns, posted:

I found that NAPA number 7425 work pretty well....and are not as tight to get on.

And another member, adk4x4 said about that:

I got the same ones and they work perfect for me. The alt is about mid way on the adjustment bar. They were napa deluxe xl's 7425.
