    Default 725 battery help

    Hello everyone,
I'm headed to northern NM tomorrow to pickup my 725, the previous owner said I should be able to drive it away, and I halfway trust him, as he is family. the only thing he "forgot" to mention was that he stole the 2 batteries out of it for another vehicle. What size batteries do I need for this vehicle?

    thanks

Not sure if you could fit 2 group 27's in there, but I know two group 24 batteries will fit.

Yeah 24's will fit...I think 27's will...just measured the one in the van:

    12 inches long
    6½ wide
9 inches tall with the terminals on.

I have part of an original battery box, it measures 13 inches wide and over 20 inches long inside so it woud seem 27's would be big in there but do-able.

That's in a -715 though, isn't it, Jon? He's got to fit them in a -725. Don't they have a little more confined battery compartment?
