    Default 12/24V Alternators

I have cought snipets here and there on other sites about HUMVEE alternators producing both 12 and 24 volts. Anyone here know anything about this?
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

I have only seen the 24v versions floating around. Wind turbine guys like em because of the 24v and sealed wiring. A 12v version might exist. The evolution of these units is very interesting, the 715 was equipped with at least 4 different generation of the same design with modifications. The HMVV model is just another evolution of the same unit. A little more compact and better regulator.
