    Default Burden of the Beast

This Loco RFD workhorse held a 500 gallon tank, that amount of water and a gasoline powered pump in the rear. Water weighs 8.345 lbs. per gallon, so that is 4172.5 lbs. Add another 1000 or so for the tank and 200 for the pump and this thing carried a lot. I noticed when the tank was removed that it sits several inches higher in the rear than it younger brother.

From my buddy's stories, the front of the truck is ready for Nebraska hunting, you just need to add a spotlight, LOL- gonz

A lot of M715's converted to texas brush trucks have the "hatari" seat up front. Pistolnut has one and I have seen a couple of others. Never have ridden up front though. Someday.

That tank would make irrigating your fields in the summer easy.

    Nice pic!
Wonder if it is an M715 or M726 that was modded or an M724 that was built that way....

Look at the dash plate. It will give the model M715, M724 or M726 and have the serial number (VIN). Also, shows the delivery date.

Also, an M724 would have come stock with a 35 gallon gas tank as opposed to the 28 gallon ones in the rest of the series....not sure what external difference the 2 tanks have though....
