Howdy, I am new to the hobby and was wondering the best way to get the old paint off besides sandblasting? Have a 1967 M715 that is slime yellow, former fire engine.

Chemical paint strippers work ok but can be very messy, or there is good old hand sanding. When I did my M715 I had the whole thing media blasted, but when I did the M725 recently, I used a combo of strippers and hand sanding with a DA sander. Luckily the M725 had a good base layer of paint so I did not have to strip it to bare metal.
