    Default Oil pressure guage

I went out to start my truck two days ago, temperature was about 0. As always, she started and ran quietly and smoothly. I noticed my oil pressure guage wasn't working. It's always been perfect until this sub-zero weather arrived. Anyone have any similar problems during the frigid cold weather?

My truck isn't stock but if I had no oil pressure showing on the gauge I'd be shutting it down in a hurry.

It may be worth it to pick up a mechanical gauge to install temporarily just to be sure there really is oil pressure. You don't need to install it in the dash to test the oil pressure.

My oil pressure gauge usually indicates zero when I start up. However... it is sticking and a snap of the finger on it and it is just fine. However, the truck is never in very cold weather now. It doesn't have a heater, never did and that could be a problem if I were driving it in MD this week!
