Thread: Rear brake line two piece or one?

    Default Rear brake line two piece or one?

    As shown in this older picture, you can see a brass union splicing the 3/16" brake line to the rear axle.
    Is this a repair, or is this factory?
    It looks factory to me, but, I don't want to put a spice there if it doesn't belong.
    You can also see an asphalted woven cloth sleeve on it where it passes through the frame gussets.

    That is 100 percent stock setup.
