    Default Harmonic Balancer Bolt

I have a leaking front crankshaft seal. No big deal. Went to take off the bolt holding the balancer on and that thing will not budge! My big snap on 1/2 impact wont touch it. I'm scared to go up to the 3/4. This thing isnt reverse thread is it? Or is there something simple I am missing? In advance thanks for the help guys.

I can't help you, I never had that apart before. Someone will chime in.

I have taken a couple 230's and a few other engines apart. They sometimes have red loctite and will be tight. Pull the big guns out.

A long breaker bar with a small sledge will work if space isn't available for the impact. I had to pull mine in the truck to get the engine/transmission out as a single unit.
