    Hello,

    I just joined-up, and am glad to be here. This is my unit, M715 #10071, INSURV 1/67, RRAD depot overhaul 4/71. Current mileage 22k.

    Thanks to all! More pics to come; I'm working a 42' GPW restoration until OCT, then the 715 rolls into the shop.

    I just bought a '42 and '43 GPW, Louisville Ford built projects!

    Can anyone see the pics in this post. I can't. Been having issues seeing and posting pics for weeks now. Ever since the posting issue started.

    Is that going to get resolved soon?

    Allow me to give you'all a visual. It's number 10071, tagged 1-67, given a limited overhaul at RRAD 4-71. It's a very faded red, but not hacked-on. Still 24v, ignition included. Tires are VERY old DENMAN and GOODYEAR, flat spots and all. It drank 2.5 gallons for 10 mile trip. Remarkably rust-free-time capsule grade. Has a 70's vintage Dodge motorhome huge steering wheel, but original column. Runs great.
