I had the tank for the M715 project vated. Well too many pin holes to really fix so decided to scrap it. Radiator guy cut the end off for scrap. I've seen some paint varnished before but never this bad.

Interesting. First time to see a paint varnished that is so bad.
I've only seen another tank that bad, one from a '75 Cherokee. It had about 1/2" of thick solid varnish at the bottom, neatly separated in color-coded layers.
from the looks of it ll the varnish is on the side like the truck was flipped up on passengerside then left ?????
