Several members in the past have done this swap. The going rate for the axles is $1000-$1500. Then you need the rear disc brake conversion. (The stock rear drums won't clear the M715 leaf springs.) New rims and front locker or limited slip while you have it apart. Most of them ended up spending $2000-$2500 doing all the work themselves.

To install them, you will need to move the spring mount pads to the proper width and of course decide if you want to go spring over or under.

Here is a copy of his post on the IFSJA..
1 ton CUCV axles out of a M1008 (I am going with Rockwells)

Dana 60 front with lockouts/disc brakes and 14 bolt rear with Detroit locker/ drum brakes.
4:56 gears. great cond. I pulled them out of a CUCV with just over 60K miles that I had. All parts are factory stock.$1750.00

4)NEW 14 bolt disc brake with Emergency brake pkg.

    Includes New rotors/ pads/ calipers with ebrakes/brake lines/hdw.
All you need is the mounting brackets. I suggest Sky manufacturing. $375.00

    BigMech,

If it's a Chevy, the rear is most likely a Corp 14 which is essentially the same as the CUCV except it probably has something like 4.11 or 3.73 gear ratios. About the same strength as the M715's rear Dana 70.
The Chevy front axle may be a Corp 10 which is about as strong as a Dana 40 or the M715's front Dana 60.
I think it would be a very good choice unless you really want to put huge tires on them and need the extra strength the CUCV front axle would provide.

Also, a 14 bolt rear may have the infamous gov locker, or an open dif. CUCV axles have a good locker.

And i have seen 3/4 ton trucks with a Dana 60 front stock.
