Default M715 Technical Manuals (AKA TMs!)

To my knowledge, these are the applicable TMs for our trucks. It took me years but I finally accumulated these.

The Operator's Manual. This should be in the glove box.

The "20" manual. This is the stuff that the Motor Pool could do.

And the parts book for the Motor Pool.

The next one is for like Depot Maintenance, the stuff we were not supposed to touch!

And the Depot parts manual. It has just about everything.

It took me years to acquire all of these books. But they are invaluable when you want to work on something (if you are a "stock" guy like me).

    Thanks for sharing Don

I found the same copy of the Operators Manual in my trucks glove box when I acquired the truck.
It has the same August 1968 date as well.

Since my truck rolled off the assembly line in May of 1967, does anyone know of an earlier edition of that Manual?

I sent Jon a picture of all three of my recently aquired TM manuals. He's going to post the picture for me. I believe they are the same as above, except one of mine is rather small in size. All dated 1968, August, Sept, and October I believe. Watch for the post guys.

You know Don, now that I look at your pics, the first one listed, (T9-2320-244-10) is the smaller one. I noticed that when I went back and looked at them. They sure are loaded with a lot of pertinent information though. I wonder how rare these are, or are they out there somewhere?

Yes, the -10, OPERATOR'S MANUAL is a small, pocket size book. With these 5 manuals, just about anything that you want to do is there. I guess the only thing that I would like to have seen is the bolt sizes, fine, coarse, length etc. to be in the parts book. Seems as though everything is by FSN. But heck, it's the army!

Thank you Jon. Seems to be the same as Don's manuals. Glad to have them though.

Probably a dumb question, but was their separate series of manuals for each of the 3 years ours trucks were produced?
