    Even More Green
Post by barrman on Oct 16, 2006, 8:34am

I realized last week when it got all the way down to 62 one morning that I might want to get my original doors painted so I can put them back on the truck for winter. I thought I would paint the small removable windows along with the bumperettes, shackles and other parts I have needing to be turned green. I ended up spending almost 2 hours per window getting all the white paint off the rubber and glass. DSPO is all I can say. I also realized that my data plate looked really trashy not painted compared to all of the other data plates at the Texas FE. I fixed that too. Anyway, here is this weeks green conversion.

Oh yeah, I used the "weld a nut to the broken bolt" method to finally get my trailer wench able to mount again. It took about 5 welds per bolt, but it worked. Thanks to all that suggested it.

Jon, I have been collecting parts to do all this for the last 4 years. Patience is too mild a word for it.
