Kwai, Colton and I have stopped there twice over the years on parts gathering trips. I have a picture at home of Colton on top of that tank retriever.

However, look at it from his point of view. He is getting pretty darn old by now, that stuff sitting around hasn't moved in years and the cost of living isn't going down. It is like the last time we were there. I had a two page list of M35 Gasser parts I was looking for. I kept asking for stuff, he would say no and then finally. He said all of his Gasser REO stuff had been scrapped decades ago because nobody would buy it.

"This isn't UNICEF, if someday the UN gets into the automotive salvage business, then maybe $200 will get your car back....." He is running a business after all.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

Absolutely true, we are a rather small group. I just appreciate what I was able to purchase and totally understand where he is coming from. Thanks to him for what he has already provided. It can't go on forever ...

It is something to see. I wish he had pictures of the 70's when the field next to his shop had hundreds of M37's and M715's as well as other surplus. All gone. When I made the trip I was worried all the way there. He would not confirm he would be there. He said he "probably" would be but he has other things going on and never knows when he would be going away. Its 9 hours from here. There are gaylords full of M37 and M715 small parts like transfer case gasket and seal kits.
