With the new paint the truck will received a set of invasion stars ....

But what are the size on the doors and the hood ?.... i think i read 12" for the doors and 20" for the hood but this is for the star alone ....

Looks like it's going to be a sweet build!

I do have one concern though, the front springs on these trucks actually flex better than you might think. Spring over with 39s should clear just fine, but I'm a little apprehensive of the thought of the heavy 5.9 sitting on two less leaves. Add to that the weight of the winch and custom bumper and I'm thinking the front is going to be sitting pretty low, not to mention you're going to have less resistance to axle wrap.

Were I you, I'd assemble it with the complete stock front springs and see how it goes, you can always cuss me and pull two leaves out later

The rear is a whole different story. Stiff and refuses to flex in stock form, have at that end of the truck.

This is exactly how i will do it !! the 5.9 weight a lot compare to the stock motor. But the swap is next winter project.

Why ? do you know where i can find somes ..........

In January i was posting on this board about how much can it cost for a m715 ... i have talked with potential buyer because i really wanted one. I already have been bitten by the mod bug .... and this is my first MV . Lots of parts left from my old jeep XJ project. Since i did not find any m715 like i really wanted ... i decide to start from the beginning and having a true MV like i always want to !! So here the build tread ..... it's just the beginning !!!

This should be a really cool build-up....

Also nice to see you have such a supportive lady there to hold your tires and such!
