So I've acquired some goodies lately! Or shall I say my wife has. God I love her. I found front and rear axles (with selectro hubs and locker), transfer case and 5 tires and rims online for $500. My wife is going to pick them up tomorrow! Also found a metal hardtop for $300. Fording kit from VPW has arrived. (Side note: it showed up with a zillion fragile stickers and writing all over the box, yet box was shredded. Since I'm not there to inventory the box I called VPW and they arranged to have it picked up and returned. They are going to handle everything for me with the shipper! Great service! Many thanks to them with all my heart). I even have Tapatalk now so that is a big help. I have 3 weeks before I make it home. Words can't describe how excited I am! Never forget how blessed you are in this life. I thank God everyday for the life I live. Thank you to everyone who has responded and helped so far. I look forward to getting to know ya'll even better in the future.
IMO all them fording kits are good for is getting bent or ripped off from tree branches, I have a n.o.s. kit and couldn't make myself cut a big hole in the fender to install it....... jmo though
It's a great piece of equipment to have. I'm not looking to open a museum. I want these trucks for what they can do. Not for how they look. Same goes with my power wagon. Not pretty. But pretty tough. I won't leave the stacks installed anyways. The manual I read on here says not to drive it around installed.
