Hello everyone, so I've been steady working on the truck, trying to get the heater box cleaned up so I can have heat this winter. I've rewired all the underhood wires, for the ignition system. Also replaced the cracked exhaust manifold, sandblasted the other side and high temp clear coated them and new gaskets. Bought a e-brake, blower motor, speedometer cable, and a few other part I can't think of right off the top of my head.
I had the privilege of knowing what it's like for the u-joint to go bad while going down the road, it came lose on the rear end of the rear shaft. Busted exhaust hanger, dented the fuel tank in a few places (at least it didn't puncture the tank) cracked the rear end drive shaft yoke, and destroyed a drive shaft. And I checked my u-joints about a month ago, everything seemed tight. Glad I have spare parts. Pictures to come.
