    Hello, new here from Arkansas!!

    Looking to do a Cummins 6bt with stock ratio gears 5.38
    Running 900-16 tires.

    Welcome.

    You want to be at around 1700-1900 RPM at the speeds you'll be driving the most. Below that, you'll lug the engine. Above that, your fuel consumption will climb very quickly.

    Stock ratio should be 5.87. I think you will find you will need to change axles to get better gearing to run 900x16 tires.
