Summit Racing has a 2 core aluminum radiator that is real close to a bolt in. There are many threads on here about a Jeep conversion radiator sold for people putting SBC engines into CJ's. Both seem to cool gas engines real well.

I think, but don't know for sure that your 7.3 has an external oil cooler. If it does, then the two choices listed above will probably work for you. Get the biggest stacked plate oil cooler you can and go for it.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

I plan on moving the pass side core support to get a bit more radiator in.
The stock 7.3 radiator is still about twice the size of that opening, not sure I am comfortable using such a small radiator.
The oil cooler for a 7.3 uses a coolant to oil heat exchanger that is attached to the block on the drivers side. So no need for another item in front of the radiator.

Someone put a 7.3 in one a while ago and it's been in some 4x4 magazines. I thought he was on here under user name kevin.

    That's what I'm talking about!
I really don't feel like reinventing the wheel here if someone has already done the work and figured out the details.
Just a little cursory search showed me finding a downflow radiator with the dimensions and hose positions I need was going to be interesting.
The 7.3 is not exactly a common swap.

This is what I ended up with

Moved the passenger core support over and stuck a 28x19 dual pass Chevy radiator in it. Fits pretty much perfectly.

Had to run a passenger side lower because of the steering gear and engine outlet made a drivers side pretty much impossible.

Hope this helps anyone who does this swap.
I'll have it back on the road soon and let you know if it does a good job cooling.

    Finally got her out

Drove around for about an hour, mixed hi-way and some downtown stop and go, in 65 degree weather. I have my fan on a 205 degree thermo switch and it never came on once. Actually don't think the temp got over 195.

Had been worried that this small of a radiator wouldn't be adequate for such a large diesel but it seems to be working fine. If that changes as the weather warms up I'll post details.

Diesels are more thermally efficient than gasoline engines. I have a smaller than stock radiator cooling a 6BT and towing a trailer in the middle of summer it did OK.

    Good to know!
Been itching to drive her some more, my cooling system was my biggest issue on the diesel repower.
