Default Old OEM parts- keep or get rid of?

My truck is thoroughly ized. It's on an F350 frame and driveline. Historical restoration value is zip.
So, when I take off something like the blackout light or fuel neck, something that I really have no use for, is there any reason (other than my wife calls me a hoarder!) to keep them?

If it's hard to find or expensive stuff, and there's a chance you might build another truck...Sure....Or if you know they are parts others might look for and you could sell...
    Is that real money?

Some of us have been building/restoring these trucks for a few years now. So, we may have the parts that we need and some spares. As mentioned above, others are in need of parts since they are just beginning. There are quite a few parts that are readily available. But others just are not out there. For instance, we have one side wheel cylinders NOS available but the other side is only available via the New Star Chinese stuff. Ignitors are a little rare and winch parts are in demand at times.

So, if you are sure you don't need it, offer it up here first and then if no one "bites" then, you can scrap it or whatever.

I agree with Don: they're not making that stuff anymore, so the dumpster should be a last-resort option.

I needed a fuel filler last summer, and was really glad to get one from a Zone member.

You don't have the filter insert for a fuel filler, do you?

Oh yeah, I would never scrap stuff. Zone vs a shelf...

    Sorry, no filter.

Oh well, had to ask. Thanks.
