Default Has anyone converted stock brakes to self adjust?

I'm planning to start going through my brakes this weekend. I know there have been lots of conversations on stock brakes and disk conversions but I am wondering if anyone has turned the stock drum brake system into a self adjusting setup?

I don't mind the limitations of drum brakes. I'm satisfied with the brake performance I have when my brakes are adjusted properly. With the addition of power brakes my truck is typically quite easy to stop. But the couple times I've pushed the pedal and couldn't stop have me a bit concerned.

It seems I can't judge the pedal getting low with the hydroboost making the effort so easy. I don't remember having this happen in my last truck but it has happened twice in what seems to me a short period. I wouldn't have expected the brakes needing adjusting in so few tanks of fuel burned. (I don't truly know how many miles I've gone but haven't used a lot of fuel in this truck yet so I assume I haven't really gone that many miles.)

It sure would be nice if there were a way to add the parts to make the brakes self adjust.

I don't want this to be a thread about why I should convert to disk brakes or why I should leave the truck stock.

I am hoping that maybe someone else here has actually thought about upgrading the stock brakes to be a little lower maintenance and has seen it done somewhere or looked into doing it themselves.

So I'm throwing it out there. Anyone have any thoughts?

Never heard of anything for the stock brakes...just the convert to the corp 14 backing plates that give the rears the ability to adjust...
