    Default Troop Seat Wood Need Specs.

    I,VE GOT A SET OF FRAMES FOR TROOP SEATS AND NO WOOD. DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE WOOD THEY COULD GIVE ME ALL THE SPECS. SO I CAN MAKE THEM. ANY HELP IS VERY APPRECIATED. soory my eyes are bad tonight.

    Bob there are 6 boards per troop seat, measurements are as follows. Three quarter inch thick material, factory seats are Oak. Slats are three inches wide by 87 inches long. Your brackets probably have the proper spacing for the holes to mount the wood, if you need anything else post up. Have fun.

    I confirm exactly what Fisherman says and will add that all the edges are routered for a rounded edge. And mounting holes are countersunk.

    BINFORD,
    WHATS left of my wood it has carrage bolts to hold the wood on. there round and dome toped. is these correct for the mounting of the wood. wheres a goos place to get the strap that goes across the rear on up from the top of the tailgate ?

    It is Bob...mine have 'em all over were bolts go through the wood.

    On mine I just used galvanized carriage bolts, all new.

    The strap I picked up from eBay for under $40.
