Thread: my truck is finally done!

    Default my truck is finally done!

    well its will never be done, but is is now driveable. for those who have followed any of my posts for the last 2 years, this truck was our Fire Dept brush truck for over 20 years. I have posted many pics in my photo album of the project. I cant thank the members on this board enough for there Knowledge, pics, hard to find parts etc. I will post some more pics on this thread another day.

    I really dig the diamond plate fender flares. I was thinking of making new rockers out of that material. Looks way better!

    The truck should go 10 MPH faster now with all that FD iron taken off. Looks awesome.

    Thanks guys! I really didnt want the diamond plate on the fender flares, but when my dept built the truck, they capped the original flares with the diamond plate and welded them all the way around to the fender and the bed. So i decided to cut them back to the stock width and just leave them. I will get some more pics up soon.
