Sept 01, I will be taking my truck to a show to benefit the Wounded Warriors.
What do people like to see:
Config A
or Config B?
Thanks for the help!!

I have gone both ways and a few levels in between. No one really seems to care that I can tell. They just like seeing the trucks.
No matter what you do, you will stand out from the jeeps, deuces and whatever else shows up.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.

For what it's worth, I personally prefer "B" configuration. Looks more, authentic and realistic to me.
I've done it both ways, and it really depends on the weather, and how much stuff I plan on displaying with it. If I'm planning on loading the truck with tons of gear and equipment, then I tend to display with the canvas off so that people viewing the truck can better see all the gear. Low amount of gear or inclement weather then I canvas up. For me it's usually an 80/20 type of thing, with canvas off windshield down being the 80% at shows. But I have collected a ton of gear over the years and I want to be able to show it off. (I probably have enough stuff to outfit an entire squad in my collections.)
At a show several years ago, notice the wet ground.
At this years MVPA show in Cleveland.

Just a question about your gun display with the truck. Didnt the local gun control nuts give u some problems?
I have given some static just going to the local range.
I don't have any of the accoutrements to go with the truck.
I believe it is a general car show and not a military type show.
Thanks for all the help!

Back to the original question.
That canvas cargo cover looks great, that's my last piece needed to complete my truck.
Well, that and a M60 on a pedestal.
Plan B for me also. I agree with what Don stated earlier, but that's just my opinion. I've been a military collector for 35 years now and have way too much, but it's a sickness.
187 rifles, 200 edged weapons, field gear, 30 handguns and everything in between. I actually have a bomb sight that was removed out of one of Jimmy Doolittle's bombers before they took off from the U.S.S. Hornet to bomb Tokyo in WWII. Long story, but it's in my collection.
