    Gees, guys. It's 26 degrees right now outside in the garage and I'm in the process of jacking up the front axle and removing the brakes for rebuild. It's not the temperature that bothers me, it's the cold tools. My use of a kerosene heater in winters past only created condensation that rusts stuff. Wish I had a heated garage.........

    And besides, it's only like 7 months 'til the FE.

    I acquired a original set of top bows. I measured the stave stops. They are actually 5/16 inch thick (.320 with a coat of paint, 5/16 is .312).

    They measure 1 inch high, and 2 1/4 inch long. They actually measure a little longer, but they are shear cut, and not that clean of a cutoff.

    The holes are .340 each and are spaced 1 1/4 inch apart on center.

    I am going to manufacture these, and should have them available to ship by next week. I am also going to make the wood staves, too. I'll post when this all is ready to ship.

    Got it just how long are the staves ?

    The wood staves are 25 inches long.

    Default carriage bolt size

    Hey Fishtail, would you know what size the carriage bolts are? piecing my cargo bows and troop seats together and wanting to get stainless steel for my fasteners. thanks
