    Cab Mounting
Post by hetzer on Apr 17, 2006, 8:07pm

Need to drill out and open up the cab mount holes on the frame pads, the backs are no problem as there is only one hole per pad. The fronts have two sets of holes in each pad.

I presume that it is the inner set that are used for the bolts and mounting, but could somebody with their cab on verify that please?

It's been awhile, the marks from the old mounts are covered over now, blah, blah, blah.

    Thanks!

Maybe this helps...I didnt read the question last night when I had my truck handy...

If you mean the holes located at the arrows on the #5 line in this pic, then the center to center measurement is 42.5 inches:

Those would be the ones Jon, looks to me as they are pointing at the outer holes.

Hmmm, my trans is now firmly in the way but I may be able to figure it.

I looked at my truck last night and it is indeed using the outer holes.

Hopefully no major surgery is needed now that you are that far along...
