Default M715's M725's Near Frederick MD

    Hi all,

I was travelling to PA yesterday up Route 15 north of Frederick MD and spotted off in a field, several M715's and a 725. They were parked in a field West of 15 about halfway between Frederick and Thurmont.

Just wondered if they belong to anyone here on the zone? Cool collection.

I blasted by at 60mph and didn't have time to stop, but it looked like there was at least 6 or so......most looked great but one looked like it was half restored.

I saw them at 70mph about a month ago. Looks like there is more stuff farther back on the property.

Hey, next time you go by there try accost....err, umm, contacting the owner and see if he'll bust up with a couple. I feel it's ethically wrong for any one person to selfishly hog anything that could be shared and enjoyed by true afficianado's and not just for the purpose of collecting rusting piles of history! Especially if it's something I want!!!!!!!!!hahahahahahahaha

They are for sale. I won't be back there any time soon to get a phone number.

    Default Listed on Jeeptrucks.com

I stopped by and looked at them about 2 months ago. A few have diesels. The M725 has a diesel good shape, M726 has 230 very good shape very orig., the others need work. He also has a container of parts and a rebuilt diesel. I think the stuff is all over priced that is why it is still sitting in the field.

JeepTruck.com has his listing for each truck.

Come to think of it, I did see a for sale sign somewhere, but again, ripping by at highway speed I only caught a glimpse.

I may venture back that way next month and see what he has. I seem to recall them there back in May when I went by too, so they don't seem to be going anywhere.

Thanks for all the info guys!

I'll have to check that out, my truck came from Brunswick VFD. I THINK they got another one, but I'm not sure.

When you mentioned that, it made me think of a local VFD here (Rapidan) that has a 715 brush truck. I keep meaning to stop in and take a pic of it one day to post here.
