    Tim,
    Are you sure the ring on the dash side of the steering wheel is still attached to the wheel? Mine kept falling off and would rattle around driving me nuts. I finally used a little 3M Weatherstrip (The yellow gorrilla snot stuff) and it has held for more than a year now.

    Here's what I have:




    That plastic ring moves, but doesn't rattle.

    My noise is not a rattle. It's a squeak when I turn the wheel. Something down the shaft needs some grease. I think I need to pull the steering wheel off to get down in there.

    YEs, pull the wheel and great the bearing in there. Make sure the horn wire isn't wrapped around the shaft somehow too.
