is the rear trans/yoke seal the same as the transfer case seals? if not, does anyone have Napa/federal or any other aftermarket number?
Thanks
Duane

Duane, no answer for you, but stock trans is a T-98 if that helps the parts counter guy help you find it. Worst case, call Novak.
This post is closed-captioned for the hearing impaired.
Dont have any part number but it MIGHT be the same as a T18 trans...the T98 and T18 are pretty similiar with the T18 having better oiling and a different to the bellhousing bolt pattern.
They are the same as a t-18. In fact I should have a few in the garage. I will see what part no. is on one of them.
I can not make a positive id on the seal, but this is what I think is on it. sc 175/125/25 tto/d431/1 It is aprox. 1 3/4" dia. and has aprox. 1 1/4" inside dia. There is 3 of them in the kit, so I think this is the one you are after. (You use 3 on a divorced trans and 2 on a married) looks small, but I have been playing with big truck parts lately.
I am still working on getting a part number for this. Will post it up when/if I do.
Timken web page shows p/n 450308.
Application listed is:
JEEP TRUCK - Comanche, FC Series, Gladiator, J Series, Pickup Truck, Sedan Delivery, Utility Wagon 4-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION - Rear Output Shaft 1967-1955 - (Warner T98)
I am going to get one and see if that is it.
let us know, because I still need one.
Thanks
Duane
