Default Tire and Wheel Value (pictures)

As you all know, I'm right on the edge of ordering a new set of rims and tires.
But to offset the expense I'd have to sell my existing set of tires/wheels.
Todays question is: What could I expect to get for one set of 5 original wheels (4 have been sand blasted and epoxy painted) and the tires have a huge amount of tread but are dry and cracked all the way around but have held air and drive-out just fine. I wanted yalls opinion before I go through all the nut roll of posting them on ebay or the for sale board. Moderators please feel free to move this post if it's in the wrong place.

If these are worth anything at all, what would You ask for them? Thanks.

They are probably only worth what the wheels would sell for? The tires might be worth something to someone who only would use them off road. The reason I went with the xl's and new wheels is because my tires even though the tread is not worn like yours have lots of sidewall cracks. I didn't want to chance it driving on the road. Besides once I saw the trucks other member put xl's on I had to have some. The new wheels were so I didn't have to deal with tubes and flaps and could have some more offset to clear my disc. brakes and a wider wheel so down the road I can run some civilian type tires if I can't get the Michelins. Good Luck

Same here, I don't want the tubes/flaps issue to deal with. Not that there is anything wrong with the design, I just want the convienience of pulling into any tire shop and getting them worked on. Plus I like the idea of having more choices also. Some of you guys tell me what these things are worth so I'll know what to ask for when I sell them. I did see a rim on ebay for 100.00.

Yeah, but did it SELL on eBay for $100?

You might could get $50 a wheel, I'd think. I agree with Fisherman that the tires won't be the reason folks would be buying them. I'll go as far as to predict you'll be asked to remove the tires before shipping them if someone buys them!

It won't sell for that 100 is my guess. I paid 200 for a set of four stock wheels and tires with a similar amount of tread. I needed a spare for both my trucks and the set was within driving distance. The shipping will kill on these things. You might consider the xl's on your stock wheels if you are concerned with cost. The tube issue is kind of a small inconvenience but the look is awesome in my opinion. Several memmbers have pics of the Michelins on stock wheels.

I think the XL (or XZL) tires on stock wheels look the best. The flat centers of the aftermarket wheels don't look as good as the stock wheels. That's the reason I bought a set of Cowan's wheels since they have the stock centers on a tubeless wheel. But they have less back spacing and the tires are outside of the flares.
