    Default Glueing Rubber to Rubber

I've got some 1/8" thick rolls of rubber that I would like to stack and bond together. What, in your opinion would be the best cement to use? Of course I need a permanent bond. Thanks, T

I used to use generic contact cement, available at Home Depot in quart cans. I'm not sure if it was Dap brand or what it was but it worked. We also used some expensive 3M specialty contact cement with the same results. This was for 1/8" rubber sheets used as a pressure skirt for FDA and explosive application assembly line machinery.

Barge, Seal all, Dap, Pilobond...they all do about the same.

Cool, thanks. I remember the thread about Pliobond being the shizzle so I think I'll pick up a bottle today and give it a try.
I can't find suitable replacements for the canvas bumpers over the winshield wipers so I thought I'd use two layers of laminated 1/8th rubber strips.

Loctite Black works as well. I've used that on automotive seals.
