Here's a great web site that covers the LU4 winch rebuild.

Thats a great write up. Seems like there is enough info on the LU-4 out there. I work for a company where the parent company is a winch and hoist co. There are a couple people here that talk to the folks at Braden daily. I just asked this morning if one of the guys could ask the Braden folks if they have any documentation on the old LU-4. This post might be a little premature but I'll post any info if I get it.

Just got the word... No parts but the folks are going to send some documentation to our sales guy. He is going to send it to my home. If it's something we don't have I'll post up.

    Cheers/

I was trying to post two PDF files. Can someone enlighten me? Or can I send it to someone? It's a little bit of info with the m37 as the rig in the pictures. I would bet the info exists here already.
    This is from Braden.

I'm guessing Jon (brute4c) will be along to help. He can put them on the server. Otherwise, you need some where to host them, just like an image.

Thanks guys. I E-mailed the two files to Jon. I though it would be good to ask since my company talks to braden every day. Why not? Hope they help some.
