Thread: heater control cables and switch question

    I bought a heater setup out of a fsj, and trying to install in my 715 as it would have came stock, thats why I am intrested in the correct cables, I am going to use the toggle for the fan like a stock one.if anyone has a source for the cables with the print on them I would appreciate it.

    i got the three correct, labled, nos cables off ebay. $40.00 to my door. about a year ago......al

    Here are the cable pics I promised...length measurements are listed below...these are from the rear of the knob to the end of the cable:

    Fresh Air Control cable: 65 5/8ths inch
    Heater cable: 52 inch
    Defrost cable: 27 7/8ths inch

    I would hope I would get first shot at them if they were sale since I started the post, but Jon didnt offer them when he said he would post pics, so I am thinking they are not for sale.

    Check with Vintage Power Wagons in Iowa...they had 2 of the 3 last I heard...the third cable is HARD to find...
