Just remember; if you pull the pump, you also need to pull the ignitor and re-install the pump per the manual, then the ignitor, so the timing is correct. The pump drives the ignitor and there are 12 ways to install the pump ( different gearing locations) and only one is correct. You can get away with 6 of the ways but you will have to relocate the plug wires in the proper sequence. The other 6 ways won't allow setting the 6 degree BTDC even if you relocate the wires.
