Thread: Repurposing M715 motors

    Default Repurposing M715 motors

Since there isn't much of a market for old motors, here are few ideas to make them useful again. Post up more as you think of them.

    Boat anchor
Artificial reef in your salt-water fish tank
    Coffee table base
Crankshaft/flywheel used for a lamp base
Use in the garden with flower pot in each cylinder.

I have a feeling that you have more than one filling up your garage.

I know I have! I just keep squirreling away enough spare parts to keep my 2 running for the rest of my life, and most likely my kids life.

    That's a good plan Dave.
    Spares will only get scarcer.
I feel very lucky that I restored my truck during the years 2012-2014 when NOS parts were a lot more plentiful.

Jeepdan, actually, the garage is not too bad because I have a big'o warehouse. I did just get another spare complete engine though.

I'm presently trying to sell the warehouse...then what?
    Thanks for all the help!
