Exhaust Manifold and system
Post by xjchief on Sept 30, 2006, 4:25pm

Finally got most of the parts together to replace the stock exhaust from the block back. I've removed half the pipe but am stalled on the manifold. The studs are all backing out instead of the nuts on the studs. I've never replaced one of these before so I was wondering if this is okay of if I need to replace the studs and the nuts now. Also, any suggestions regarding antisieze or lock tight?

Like I said, never done this before and don't want to mess it up.

Thanks for the help.

Okay, I'd like to replace the studs. They look pretty bad. A trip to Napa, Advanced, Autozone, leaves me empty handed. Does someone know where I can get a set?
