Default M724 across the Atlantic.

Good morning all.
I finally found my Jeep Kaiser.
After a great cleaning I present it to you.

- JEEP Kaiser M724 24v
- Engine number: 230 M2 06 26 75
- Serial number: 10152 (frame and plate number)
- Date Del: September 18 1968
- Hood number: US ARMY 3U13268
- Bumper number front: 6BG 3784S HQ 37

Welcome, are you sure it's not a M724 or M726 that someone has swapped beds back to a M715 bed. My list of vin #s shows that there was a 68 M726 with a vin # of 10151 with a hood registration number of 3U47568 which would match up close to yours being 10152 with a hood # of 3U43268 most likely. The registration number of 3F 3977 on the tailgate doesn't match as that is the number for a truck from 1967 which makes sense for it being a swapped bed and tailgate.

It seems to me that on the first olive drab semi-gloss color there is a regimental marking and another on the sand color.

That’s looking great! Where did you get the shifter boot? Or was it already with the Jeep when you bought it?

The gear lever boot was with the jeep, this rubber has incredible resistance.
