I bought a muffler from from Surplus City Jeep Parts

They also had a few of the cable hangers as well.

    Check with Saturn Surplus. http://www.saturnsurplus.com/
They have far better prices on many items.
I went to a local muffler shop and sized up a replacement. Found one that was close in size but a little short to 'fill the gap'. Shop gave me some straight scrap pieces to which I tack welded the flanges I had ground off the old rotted piped. Slipped the extensions into the muffler and adjusted them until it 'filled the gap'. Rotated the muffler to lay as it should and tack welded the extensions. Took back to muffler shop and they finished the welds. Painted it with high temp black and installed it. Looks close to OEM and sounded quiet.
Cost all of $50 when done.

Saturn has great prices on the two front pipes, but, they didn't have the muffler or any other hardware this spring when I called. Maybe now they do.
I think that I paid $250.00 for the muffler. It was way expensive.
I'm sure one could be made locally cheaper.
I wanted an exact duplicate of the original, and I didn't know what that looked like. So, I paid the premium.
