    Default 10/68 m715 Project thread

Well, I finally bought a M715. I had looked for a while but have given up and started looking for an affordable WW2 weapons carrier.

Then someone from one of the FB groups reponded to a PM I had sent he had missed .

And a bought a '68 that is is in ok shape rust-wise but is without its motor.

It came today with the help of a shipper. One of the tires self destructed when it was pulled out of the seller's yard.

Luckily I had just bought tires and tunes. I was not feeling up to changing it myself and just ended up driving aeound, not finding any shops willing to deal with a split rim or one that was open. So I ended up doing it myself. That ate up the rest of the day.

So I'm excited by there is a lot of work to do.

I'm looking to put it back to its original state.

First step is looking for a 230 motor.

Congrats! It looks like a good foundation, and it has a tailgate!
    Thanks, George

The tailgate is not original to it, painted camo, a bit bent, missing frame side hinges. But it's a gate.
