    The running gear is good.
two inner wheel seals and a dead rear wheel bearing.
I was able to completely disassemble the braking system.
The rebuild kit for the master cylinder and the three wheel cylinders may be sufficient.
The brake lines were blocked and are now OK, flexible included.
    Dead shock absorbers.
Bolt size 9/16 48 pounds feet it's perfect.

    Nice work!

I've never actually understood the need for shocks on suspension that travels maybe 30mm 99% percent of time.

    Hi,
    Thank you.

I have a question about this opening which is in the wing.
I suppose it is linked to the M724, I do not have to keep it?

I used to think that too. I drove with no shocks for years. Put shocks on... And what a difference!

The 2 bolt holes at the front of that fender are for the hood hold down latch. The next hole, the larger one, as far as I know, there wasnt a factory item in that location.
Not sure what that would be.

The extra holes are for the military side marker lights. These were added in the 70's probably during a refit. Most likely the rears were upgraded to the composite lights from the standard small lights at the same time. The side marker lights had amber for the front corners and red for the rear.

From the first pic, it looks like a running light someone added.
