Thread: Transmission cover nuts?

  1. #1

    Default Transmission cover nuts?

    Hello guys.

Looking for the nuts that are used to hold the transmission cover on. These nuts are in a Square retainer but it looks like they snap into the square pre-cut hole, but are not welded in place like other blind nuts. Then the cover is laid on top of it.
Any leads please let me know.

    Thanks

    Carmen

I know You are in a hurry... so here goes a best guess.

Here is an old thread addressing the same issue You have, with part numbers... and discussion of the issue.

Here is a listing of the known and recorded fasteners for a M715:

You are welcome, but this is what I like about this site....
Good folks here have been there and done that, and they take their time to share it here.
Many of the guys here have done complete frame up restorations...
    But not me,

I cant take any credit... besides being familiar with the site.

    Best of Luck Carmen.

    Glad to assist.
